One person was killed and 11 others injured (three critically) when a bus rolled over on the 15 Freeway in the San Bernardino County desert on Tuesday night, Dec. 13.
The fatal bus crash was reported at 11:32 p.m. in the southbound lanes south of Baker, near Zzyzx Mineral Springs at the northwest tip of the Mojave National Preserve.
San Bernardino County Fire Battalion Chief Mike McClintock said 20 people were on board and several were ejected. Ground and air ambulances transported the injured.
Police have not yet reported on the suspected cause of the fatal bus accident.
