A gas station in Azusa was the scene of a lethal car crash early last Sunday morning. Video captured by the gas station’s security cameras show the dramatic moment when a car slams into a gas pump before spinning onto its back.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. at a Mobil gas station around the 100 block of N. Azusa Avenue.
Two men were in the car. The passenger was killed while driver was taken to the hospital where he remains in serious condition.
As of the writing of this Azusa police are considering both speed and alcohol to be possible factors in the lethal crash.
