According to police, at the time of the motorcycle crash, Mr. Malcolm Courtney had a green light and was stopped facing westbound on Commonwealth Avenue, waiting to make a southbound turn on State College Boulevard. While Courtney waited for traffic to clear, a Toyota Camry entered the intersection northbound on State College and struck Courtney before running off the roadway and hitting a tree.
