One person was taken to a local hospital with injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on the 57 freeway at Lambert Road in Brea, according to a news report.

The California Highway Patrol said that the driver of a Mazda 6 traveling south on the 57 freeway apparently made an unsafe lane change and hit a Ford F-150 pickup truck, sending the truck into a BMW 330i.  The pickup continued across the freeway and went down an embankment; the BMW hit the center divider and one person from that vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries.
