A 32-year-old man was killed and five others were injured when a driver crashed his car into a Fountain Valley tutoring center, according to a news report.

Fountain Valley police said that the driver of a Buick LaCrosse sedan drove through the Tutoring Club at Brookhurst St. and Ellis Ave.  Two people were trapped under the vehicle, including Alex Martinez, a senior tutor at the center who died from his injuries at a local hospital, and Michael Le, 20, another tutor at the center, who sustained serious injuries.

Other injury victims included two 15-year-old boys and a 67-year-old woman; the driver, a 76-year-old Huntington Beach man, also sustained minor injuries.

Investigators said that the Buick was parked in front of the Tutoring Club before it drove through the glass front and accelerated through the building to the back wall, dragging Martinez and Le along with it.  The driver has not been cited and the investigation is continuing, said police.
