The morning of Easter Sunday in Santa Ana saw a tragic car crash that sent five people to the hospital, 2 of which were for critical injuries.
According to police, a total of three vehicles were involved in the crash at the intersection of Raitt Street and Monta Vista Avenue at 10:14 a.m. Five patients were hospitalized with injuries ranging from “moderate to critical.”
Two remained in “critical” condition as of 12:30 p.m.
Police report that emergency crews had to pull one person from the wreckage of a vehicle. A white BMW sedan and a red Nissan SUV, both with smashed front-ends, sat in the intersection.
