Peng “Aaron” Wang, 29, from China, was tragically killed while working on the set of a USC student film on April 15.
According to police, Wang, who attended Chapman University was performing his duties as cinematographer from a moving dune buggy when it crashed.
Chapman officials are assisting Wang’s parents with coming to the United States. The university plans to hold a memorial service when they arrive.
Wang, a popular student, was a third-year graduate student who was scheduled to graduate this spring with a master’s degree in fine arts.
Wang had volunteered to work on the project with USC students.
