The driver of a street sweeper was injured after being involved in a three-vehicle accident on the southbound 241, according to a news report.

The California Highway Patrol reported that a street sweeper owned by Viejo Sweeping Service of Mission Viejo was involved in a three-vehicle crash with a pickup truck and a Chevrolet Suburban just north of Alton Parkway on the southbound 241 toll road.  The sweeper went off the road and rolled onto its side; the driver was injured and taken to Mission Hospital.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
