Three women were injured in a Corona hit-and-run accident where one driver was suspected of DUI and texting while driving, according to a news report.

The California Highway Patrol reported that Teresa Lynn Hyde, 27, of Newport Beach was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and felony hit-and-run after she allegedly side-swiped another vehicle while under the influence, texting and speeding.  The CHP said that Hyde tried to flee from the accident and drove off a 91 freeway off-ramp in Riverside, flipping her 2003 Lexus and becoming pinned under the vehicle.  Hyde was taken to Riverside Community Hospital with severe injuries.

Two women in the side-swiped vehicle – Genevieve Y. Sanchez, 27, and Adeline Robles, 22, both of Riverside – were take to the hospital with minor injuries.
