One man was killed and three people injured in a tragic three-vehicle crash in Fullerton on Sunday, Oct. 23.
According to Fullerton police, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the driver of a Kia Forte was heading northbound on Harbor Boulevard at high speeds when the car struck a Volkswagen Passat turning east onto La Entrada Place. Both cars collided with a wall on the northeast corner of the intersection before spinning out and coming to rest near a bus stop.
A Dodge Neon also driving north on Harbor Boulevard, in an attempt to avoid the collision, veered and lost control, coming to a stop at the intersection of Harbor and Hermosa Drive.
The driver of the Kia, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity was not released pending notification of family.
The driver and passenger in the Volkswagen and a passenger in the Dodge were taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
Police stated that the cause of the fatal car crash was still under investigation Sunday evening.
