Two Killed, One Injured in Anaheim Street Racing Crash

Two people have been killed and one badly injured in an Anaheim street racing crash, according to a news report.

Anaheim police said that the driver of an Infiniti involved in street racing with a red sports car on West Ball Road lost control of his car, which jumped a curb, knocked down a light pole and struck several cars before crashing into a home in the 1700 block of West Ball Road. The Infiniti caught fire and one passenger escaped. That passenger, described as a 24-year-old Anaheim man, was on fire and the homeowner quickly put out the flames with a garden hose. He was hospitalized with severe burns.

Two other men were found dead in the burned-out Infiniti. The driver was identified only as a 19-year-old Stanton man. Police were still searching for the other vehicle involved in the street racing incident, described only as a red sports car similar to a Mustang or Camaro.
