A 48-year-old woman waiting at a Westminster bus stop was critically injured when a stolen Lexus SUV jumped a sidewalk and struck a pole next to where she was standing, according to a news report.

Westminster police said that Charita Zamora, of Westminster, was found lying next to the bus bench when officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run accident near Beach Boulevard and Bolsa Avenue.  Witnesses told police that four men got out of the SUV after the crash and fled the scene; officers saw two men running when they approached the scene, and detained them for questioning.  The two other men are still being sought.

Zamora was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange in critical condition, with multiple cuts and a broken arm.  Police said the SUV had been stolen from an area home that had been burglarized the previous day.
