Five people were injured in Santa Ana when an Orange County Transportation Authority bus was hit by a car, according to a news report.

Santa Ana police said that a male driver collided with an OCTA bus at Westminster Avenue and Clinton Street.  The driver of the car was taken to the trauma center at UCI Medical Center in Orange with serious injuries.  Four people on the bus suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said that the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
