An 81-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle and killed in a Garden Grove pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
Garden Grove police responded to a report of a pedestrian accident at Lampson Avenue and Strathmore Drive. The victim, Thu Nguyen of Garden Grove, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe she was walking south on Lampson when she was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The male driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene until police and paramedics arrived; no arrests or citations were reported.
