A three-car crash on Santiago Canyon Road has led to the arrest of one driver on suspicion of DUI, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol said that Anthony Menden, 44, of Trabuco Canyon, drove his 2012 Chevrolet Silverado into oncoming traffic on Santiago Canyon Road, sideswiping a pickup with a trailer and then crashing into a power pole. A third vehicle, a 2012 Mazda 3, was hit by the debris from the crash.
Menden was hospitalized with minor injuries before being arrested on suspicion of DUI. A report on the injuries to the other drivers was unavailable.
