Police have arrested a man on suspicion of felony hit-and-run after he allegedly hit a bicyclist, then left the scene, crashed into another car, and drove over a curb into a gas pump that ignited and shut down a gas station, according to a news report.

Police say that Jaeson Kim, 33, of Huntington Beach, was arrested after hitting a bicyclist with his Nissan Pathfinder at the intersection of Magnolia and Ellis Ave.  Kim then left the scene of the accident and drove north on Magnolia, where he crashed into another car, drove over a curb, and hit a gas pump at the 76 gas station on Magnolia and Edinger Ave.  The gas pump ignited and shut down the station while firefighters put out the blaze.

The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment of potential head and internal injuries.  Kim was also taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, and was arrested following his release from the hospital.
