A multi-vehicle crash involving injuries was reported Tuesday morning on the Interstate 805 Freeway in San Diego.
According to police, the crash was reported at 5:56 a.m. near the Interstate 8 Freeway interchange. One of the vehicles overturned in the collision and a woman was trapped in that vehicle. The vehicles involved included a Chevrolet Malibu, a truck, a black Cadillac and a Honda. A 20 to 25-foot section of the guardrail in the center divider was broken off when one of the vehicles crashed into it.
Paramedics were called to the scene to treat anyone who was hurt, but it’s unknown at this time if there were any serious injuries.
The cause of the car accident and liability are under investigation by the CHP.
