Police have reported the deaths of two women in Irvine as the result of car crash that happened on Sept. 13.
Police were called to the scene of the crash near Valley Oak Drive on Oak Canyon around 10 am. The crash involved a Tri-Area Trucking box truck and an SUV. The two women who were killed were pronounced dead at the scene while a third woman was rushed to a hospital in moderate condition.
The Orange County Fire Authority described all three women as being elderly.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing and names of the victims have not yet been released. As of now we only know that all of the victims were in the SUV while the truck driver was uninjured and cooperating with police.
