In Los Angeles, former ‘General Hospital’ actress Haley Pullos has begun serving a 90-day jail sentence following a DUI conviction related to a traffic accident last year. The 25-year-old was taken into custody on Monday as per Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records.
Pullos was involved in a collision after driving in the wrong direction on a freeway on April 29, 2023, which led to her arrest. She faced two felony DUI charges—one for driving under the influence causing injury, and another for driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% causing injury. She also had a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge for property damage filed against her.
The incident prompted Pullos to take a leave of absence from her role as Molly Lansing-Davis on the series ‘General Hospital’, which she had been a part of since 2009. The actress had also been previously recognized for her work with a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2015 and has appeared in other television series such as ‘House’, ‘Dollhouse’, and ‘Mr. Mayor’.
After initially pleading not guilty, Pullos later reached a plea agreement with the prosecutor, pleading no contest to one of the DUI charges. In exchange, the other charges were dropped. Pullos is now facing a sentence that includes five years of probation, 200 hours of community service, and restitution payments amounting to over $8,000.
