Spencer Becker, 17, has died from injuries he sustained in a Newport Beach SUV accident, according to a news report.
Newport Beach police said that Becker, of Newport Beach, was driving a Chevrolet Suburban east on Bristol Street when he collided with a Toyota Corolla in the intersection of Jamboree Road. The force of the impact caused the Suburban to flip over on its side. Becker was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where he later died from his injuries.
The Toyota driver, an unidentified female, was not injured. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fatal crash.
