35-year-old Christine Hawk Embree and her 16-month-old daughter, Delilah were involved in an e-bike crash that proved fatal for Embree. Amazingly, her daughter was unharmed in the bicycle crash.
According to police, the fatal e-bike crash occurred on Sunday, August 6 at approximately 5:45 p.m. when Embree and her daughter were struck by a Toyota 4-Runner. While Delilah was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, authorities stated that she did not appear to be injured. Embree, however, was rushed to a local hospital where she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
The 42-year-old driver of the SUV remained at the scene of the fatal e-bike crash and cooperated with police.
Donations are being accepted at a GoFundMe which was created in honor of Christine, who was remembered as an “amazing individual, mother, wife, and friend.”
