A 24-year-old Anaheim woman was tragically killed in a Tustin car crash early Tuesday, Feb. 23. The driver, Anthony Robles, has been charged with DUI relating to the fatal accident.
According to police, just before 2:10 a.m., a BMW sedan was traveling south on the 55 in the Tustin area. The BMW was being driven by 27-year-old Anthony Robles of Rowland Heights.
The police report on the fatal crash stated that Robles was driving at unsafe speeds when the front of the BMW collided with the rear of a Lexus resulting in the fatal crash which happened near the connector with the I-5 Freeway.
The BMW passenger, whose name had not been released yet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Lexus, a 22-year-old Newport Beach woman, was hospitalized for injuries that were described as “moderate.”
Robles was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
